Its been a month since Ni started her L.K.G.
It started on june 6th. Me and Hd took her to school. She was soo excited about this day. When we reached the KG section, it was very crowdy with all the parents waiting behind to check out their little ones. I knew I wudnt have much difficulty with her, since she was always excited to go to a place where she can play, can be with her age group. I watched through the window, and found her sitting in a lill chair. Most of them were crying, and she was just watching.
. Parents had a meeting in the auditorium for an hour. I checked out on her after that and found that the kids were wearing caps. She was chewing on some chocolate. She came near the window and waved at me. She was quite comfortable. First and second day lasted for 3 hrs or so only.
What I found difficult in the beginning was to wake her up in the morning. To make her eat something and get her ready to school by 8:00 AM. But she was somewhat cooperating and we are getting better each day.
After 1 week of school, Ni got down with a very high fever. She refused to take antibiotics which were very bitter. So I had to get her admitted. She had IV , and we stayed there for 5- 6 days. They declared that she had a huge toncils & adenoids. Gave us a nasal spray. If it doesnt reduce we will have to get it removed.
..Hope it does.
She missed a weeks class and I was a bit worried if she will find it difficult to follow. I called the teacher after a day and she said Ni is picking up fast and thers no reason to worry. Thank God!
We had a close relatives marriage the weekend after we were out of hospital. Ni had an Icecream from there.. I dint mind since it was in between a function. And I though it was just an icecream… 2 3 days later on our visit to another relative’s house, she had a cold orange soda. I cudnt stop her since I dint know she was drinking it. One day later, she was again down with fever. I was scared since she got fever again at such short notice. Doc said she got the throat infection back. Her tonsils are such large that a minor infection can cause her problems. We have decided to take extra care. To give only warm/hot water. To make her gargle with salt water 1 or 2 times per day etc. Also she hates sleeping covered in a blanket. She somehow puts it away. This might have added up. Anyways I need to be extra careful.
Hope she survives everything well, else we will have to proceed on this minor surgery.
Today she is back to school. Excited to show her first home assignment to G Miss. Standing lines & Sleeping lines.
